> CBD drinks are beverages with added CBD and sometimes other active ingredients. Check whether the CBD amount refers to a serving or the whole container, and read the complete formula.

## One can is not always one serving

Read the CBD amount per serving and the number of servings in the container. Check whether the figure describes CBD or hemp extract. A smaller container is not necessarily less concentrated.

## Look at the combination

List caffeine, alcohol, melatonin, botanicals, sugar, and allergens separately. Each combination changes the questions you should ask. FDA warns that CBD with alcohol or other substances that slow brain activity can increase sedation and drowsiness. [1]

## Keep availability separate from authorization

A product appearing in a shop does not establish that it is authorized for sale everywhere. Food and CBD rules depend on jurisdiction and can change. This guide explains labels; it is not a country-by-country legal assessment.

## Ask for the finished product report

If a seller provides a certificate, check what was tested, the batch, the units, and the date. Testing a raw ingredient is different from testing the finished beverage. Avoid using an impressive sounding formulation term as a substitute for that information.

## A real page check: the number needs a version and a unit

Observed on 19 October 2026. These are statements on manufacturer pages, not laboratory measurements or a claim about the contents of a can.

| Observed page information | What it establishes | What remains unresolved |
| --- | --- | --- |
| TRIP France description: 15 mg CBD | The description displays that number | Whether it matches the current can |
| The same page’s badge: 20 mg CBD | Another part displays a different number | Which figure applies to the sold version |
| Ingredient figure: 8 mg per 100 ml | A concentration is stated on another basis | The complete can label and volume must match |
| TRIP US Mindful formula lists magnesium and botanicals | That published formula does not list CBD | The brand name alone cannot identify a CBD drink |

The checked [French TRIP page](https://fr.drink-trip.com/products/boisson-au-cbd-peche-gingembre) is a concrete example of why copying one prominent number is insufficient: its description and badge disagree. We cannot determine the actual can’s CBD content from that conflict. A current package image, exact variant and manufacturer clarification are the appropriate next evidence, not an assumption that one number must be correct. Allergen information should also stay attached to the exact formulation.

The [US Peach Ginger Mindful page](https://us.drink-trip.com/products/mindful-peach-ginger) creates a different comparison: its published formula is a magnesium and botanical drink, without CBD listed. Similar branding and flavour do not make those formulations equivalent. Once the exact version is clear, align every amount to its stated basis. The [FDA’s label-reading explanation](https://www.fda.gov/food/nutrition-facts-label/how-understand-and-use-nutrition-facts-label) distinguishes a serving from the whole package. Apply that discipline to the drink’s CBD, sugars and other declared ingredients separately, without interpreting a nutrition serving as personal CBD advice.

1. **Identify the version:** Exact product, formula and market page.
2. **Align the units:** Per 100 ml, serving or complete container?
3. **Resolve conflicts:** Match the can and ask about inconsistent figures.

Save the exact variant and can label. If quantity, volume or ingredients disagree across the offer, ask the manufacturer which information applies before comparing it.

Scope: These observations concern page text on the checked date. They do not identify a manufacturing error, test a can or establish any product’s legality or effects.

## Does every drink from a CBD-associated brand contain CBD?

Do not assume so. Read the named version’s complete ingredients and explicit CBD declaration. A brand may publish different formulas for different ranges or markets.

## Which CBD number should I use if the page contradicts itself?

Treat the amount as unresolved until the current package and manufacturer clarify the exact version. Do not silently pick one figure or combine data from different versions.
